SPECIAL RATE FOR BOTH CONVENTIONS

Pre-registration up to the 1st July, 2010: 520 euros

With visit to the LPF breeding centre (includes membership) 605 euros

Registration after the 1st July, 2010: 555 euros

With visit to the LPF breeding centre (includes membership) 640 euros

The registration fee includes two cocktails, lunch, 3 dinners, a free visit to Siam Park and free entry to Loro Parque for during your stay in Tenerife (valid Sunday 19th to Wednesday 29th of September inclusive).

Parrot Convention Only:

Pre-registration up to the 1st July, 2010: 385 euros

With visit to the LPF breeding centre (includes membership) 470 euros

Registration after the 1st July 2010: 420 euros

** WORKSHOPS

During the three days after the VII Convention, 3 workshops will be given, with a limit of 100 participants per day. You may register for any one, two or three days.

All speeches will be presented in printed proceedings and/or a CD in PDF format which will be available in 4 languages (Spanish, German, English, French). Please reserve your printed copy and/or CD in advance and pay it together with your registration fee.

THE INTERNATIONAL PARROT CONVENTION SERIES

This seventh convention, in the series which began in 1986, continues the tradition of uniting persons with an interest in parrots worldwide, in an exciting and intensive atmosphere to exchange information and ideas for the benefit of the parrots themselves. Globally the most important forum for the broadest discussions on this family of birds, the seventh convention will again combine aspects of aviculture with topics concerning the conservation of parrots.

The convention will be of interest to all persons with an interest in parrots and their wellbeing, and is especially suitable for aviculturists, hobbyists and professionals maintaining and attending parrots under controlled conditions. Thus the convention will deal with key aspects of management, care, breeding and welfare, with the objective to continue making significant advances for these widely-kept birds. The convention will also include presentations on the study and management of parrots in the wild, once again with the objective to highlight the relevance of field and captive in the conservation of psittacines.

The internationally recognised speakers are all well experienced in the topics they will

present.
